Legendary reggae artist Gregory Isaacs died this morning of lung cancer at the age of 59. Many people of my generation probably aren't familiar with him, but he had several hits and was well known for his smooth sounds and political content. One of my dad's all-time favorite songs came from him called "Night Nurse", which was probably his biggest hit. R.I.P.
OK, lets recap:
6. Nicki Minaj
7. Lil Wayne
8. Waka Flocka
9. B.o.B
10. Ludacris
Now, I've always said Lil Wayne was a bit overrated, but #7? That's pretty low. Another example of how out of touch these "music networks" are. The top 5 ain't too bad, but in my opinion, they fxcked up that 1 and 2 spot just like BET did:
5. Rick Ross
4. Drake
3. Kanye West
2. Jay-Z
1. Eminem

New music from N.E.R.D. featuring T.I. off of their new upcoming album, Nothing due out November 2nd.

Cam posted this song last night in honor of his fallen friend and Dipset affiliate, Hud 6, who passed away 2 weeks ago from a tragic car accident.
Here's some clips from Wiz of him performing 'Never Been', 'Smoker Face', 'In The Cut', 'Kidd Frankie', & 'Black & Yellow' at The Fillmore. Then later, in true Wiz fashion, he has a big ass weed plant brought out on stage.
B.o.B showed love to Emory University and performed during their Homecoming this past weekend in Atlanta. Here he brings out T.I. and Playboy Tre to perform "Bet I Bust".
Here's the music video/short film for "Runaway" that debut a few minutes ago on BET and MTV. I'm not gonna sit up here and act like I understood the meaning behind all of it like some of ya'll. I think I'm gonna have to watch it a few more times to get where he was going with this. But the imagery was beautiful.
