The vast realm of the communications industry is always looking for a fresh voice, a fresh look; Whether its radio or tv, there is someone needed who can add the bang to the buck!  Vonyetta is double that bang.  She is universal and an all around player.

Vonyetta, originally born Adrien Lake, started in radio in 1999 when she was 14 years old.  She started her journey on the Teen Forum Show.  The show started out being a statewide syndicated show for South Carolina.  Topics for the show included politics, teen issues, and more.  In 2001, the show moved to a national syndication level.  At this point, Adrien's young voice was being heard in seven states across the country.  During Adrien's senior year in high school, she got a chance to shadow Mike Love and Lori Mack on the Mike Love Morning Show which was broadcast across the 100,000 watt station, WWDM (The Big DM 101.3,) Columbia, SC.

The spark Mike Love saw in Adrien was brought forth when she was offered a job as a promotions technician at Innercity Broadcasting.  Shortly before her hire, WHXT (Hot 103.9,) joined the Big DM jointly as sister stations.  This created an awesome opportunity for Adrien.  Adrien started to assist the promotions director with daily operations and continued to do so for 4 1/2 years.

In early 2008, Chris Connors, the program director for WHXT gave Adrien the opportunity of a lifetime and thus Vonyetta was born.  Chris allowed Vonyetta to provide entertainment updates to the listeners five days a week.  Shortly after the entertainment updates started, Chris gave Vonyetta yet another opportunity that would place her career in flight mode.  Her on-air slot came every Saturday night from 10PM - 1AM.  It was called Saturday Night Live which included one of the hottest live mixes in Columbia.

In early 2009, through an already long lived member, DJ Prince Ice, Vonyetta was recommened to become a member of Hood Hard DJs.  She was accepted with open arms.

Vonyetta has also now added to her long list of accomplishments the newest addition, Vonyetta's Trendsetters.  This elite group of ladies are also the official model of the Hood Hard Dj's.  The ladies model in performances for various artists, host parties, and much more.

TrendsettersMetro

Vonyetta has teamed up with one of the hottest up and coming publicists, Selena Moore.  The two have created Lake & Moore PR and Marketing Firm.  It's a marketing and public relations firm that provides a multitude of offerings to various types of clientele.

Vonyetta looks forward to taking off with her reality television show, "The Industry:  Welcome to My World."  It is a television show that shows the world how it is behind the scenes with radio, event coordination, issues with The Trendsetters, music industry, and much more.  It's unlike any reality television show on television now.

Vonyetta is diligently working on promoting herself in other areas to make a name for herself not only outside of radio, but outside of the state of South Carolina.  It will only be a matter of time before this time bomb of talent blows into a successful young woman.

Check out this new singer out of Texas...

Dallas is King! Hailing from Texas comes Dallas-born, Houston-raised singer/songwriter/music producer, Dallas Blocker. In a time where many artists are being coined as hierarchy in the music business, Dallas is no exception. What will make this crooner rise to the top is his ability to do what many R&B artists have had trouble doing - gaining the love of the ladies while keeping the overwhelming support of the fellas.

Dallas has worked with practically every major Texas rapper - Slim Thug, Paul Wall, Lil Keke, Trae the Truth, Rob G, Lil Flip, Mike Jones, Tum Tum, Fat Pimp and 50 Cent's most recent #1 nemesis, Rick Ross, on a track called "For The Hood". Dallas has been featured on very popular music sites such as Singersroom.com and DJBooth.net to name a couple.

In September 2009, Dallas was invited to Japan for the "Save R&B Tour" where he headlined his very first tour. The support was fantastic. Being from Houston, one might ask if Dallas has worked with Matthew Knowles, and that answer is of course! Dallas has written and produced songs for several Musicworld Music artists, as well as childhood friend Brian "Angel" of Day 26 in Matthew's old boy group Mason Rd. Basically, Dallas is no newcomer to the music business and his dues are well paid.

Check out Dallas Blocker's new single "Rock Ya Body" which is a sexy number thats sure to get the blood flowing and the hormones raging - written & produced by Beanz N Kornbread. The single was released to radio January 2010 via Houston-based record label T.F. Records in collaboration w/ Beanz N Kornbread's imprint SydeDish and Dallas' own imprint Blockerboy Music.

Aspiring and upcoming Detroit artist, Jay-Cro Jay-Young’n was originally born in Atlanta, GA, but was moved to Detroit during his toddler years. Jay was heavily influenced by music while growing up around a family that greatly appreciated music. Besides family influences, Jay was inspired by artists such as MC Hammer, NWA, Tupac, LL Cool J, Biggie Smalls, T.I., Lil Wayne and Eminem. These artists not only led Jay-Cro to be the rapper he is today, but they encouraged him to become a genuine emcee. His U.S.R. family helps to keep him focused and motivated to continuously grow as an artist.

Jay-Cro’s style is a mixture of persuasive similes and metaphors. His music is crafted through lyricism and everyday life experiences.  Jay’s overall outlook on music is that it should never be made for one specific crowd. “Music is my life and I make music that everyone can feel and relate to. Real hip-hop tells no fake stories so I don't rap about what I don't know. I may stretch the truth a little for entertainment purposes but when it comes to my music… What you hear is what you get.”

Right now, Jay is currently showcasing his talents on the mixtape called Potential: Then & Now. The mixtape includes previously recorded, never released tracks and updated tracks Jay’s been working on currently. “I did the mixtape this way because I wanted to show people how much I’ve grown as an artist with my delivery, flow and production.”Potential: Then & Now is the prologue and prep work for his greater project/album Self Explanatory.

Jay has achieved much success from his first solo mixtape, to the tune of 70,000 downloads in its’ first week, over 20 official blog features, numerous interviews, magazine features, performance opportunities, and fans all over the world. With much achieved success, Jay still remains humble, grinding daily between the internet and the studio to create music. Jay’s music appeals to anyone who will listen, so the demographic ranges from high school youths to hip hop fans in their thirties. Having his own style and presence on the mic, Jay-Cro Jay-Young'n is an emcee that will definitely give the industry something new to listen to. Be on the lookout for this upcoming artist, Jay-Cro Jay-Young’n.
