From the early stages of human history, we have wondered how we can influence our experiences and the kind of fortune we have in our lives based on how we act. While people used to pray to ‘the gods’ for it to rain so that the harvest could help them through the winter, today, we use tools like affirmations, positive reinforcement, faith, the power of numerology, the law of attraction, and more in an attempt to manifest the best success and serenity into our lives.
While this is not a hard science, it’s hard not to see some of the positive benefits involved with manifesting this kind of potential in your life, or at least being open to it. Someone who affirms that they’re worth it and that they can succeed is more likely to believe that when starting a new job they feel intimidated by. It’s certainly much better than feeding energy into your impostor syndrome, else you would never overcome it.
But inviting success and serenity into our life can also be a practical approach, too. In this advice, we hope to help you act in a manner that allows for this. Without further ado, let’s begin:
Understand Your Purpose
It’s healthy to understand your purpose to the degree that you can, but focusing on figuring that out might be your first step. It’s hard to manifest that which we want if we don’t really know what we do want. It’s okay to take a step back to figure that out, to spend some time thinking about it, to take some time off, or to reflect over a period of time. In our go-go-go culture, this lesson is rarely promoted, but it matters. Take some time to think about who you are, take a few different directions, and over time, this ideal will come to you naturally.
Reinforce Your Wellbeing
It’s important to make sure you’re taking care of yourself if you want to be serene and successful in day to day life. Stretching, getting good sleep, eating well, meditations, and limiting indulgent and unhealthy practices like drinking alcohol is essential if we hope to live as our best selves, as it will give you the tenacity and reactive strength necessary to make good on an opportunity when it comes knocking.
Take Risks & Pursue Opportunities
Life tends to work in your favor if you take risks. This isn’t to say they’ll all pan out perfectly, but old sayings such as ‘fortune favors the brave,’ as well as ‘nothing ventured, nothing gained’ are true in more than just a feel-good sense. Accepting opportunity when it comes into our life and refusing to turn our nose up at the worthwhile potential we have, even if that’s tiny, and even if it’ll take time to cultivate, can help us become more dynamic and appreciative people. That’s exactly the kind of person you need to be if you hope to align yourself with success and serenity.
With this advice, we hope you can manifest nothing but worth into your life.
