Thank God for my brother Marcus stepping in last minute for this week’s Tastemaker Tuesdays. To many, Marcus has only been known to tweet out links for my site on Twitter, but there’s so much more to him. First, he owns a consulting/hip hop culture education company, which is kind of how we bonded. We both crave to help the indie artists get educated so that they can further improve themselves.
Next, he was working as an A&R for Atlantic Records, but he’s since then moved to the marketing division. He is also the manager of several up and comers. Needless to say, he’s a serious asset to the industry, and a great person to know. I look forward to seeing his feedback today.
