Mir Fontane kicks off the fall with his new “Bodega” music video, which premiered exclusively with Hypebeast. The Sage English directed visuals were dedicated to Bronx teen, Lesandro “Junior” Guzman-Feliz, who tragically lost his life outside of a bodega this past June and sparked a national outcry for legislation to require small businesses to protect children in danger on their property.
Fontane told Hypebeast, “To me, the bodega always represented a hub for the community… but it also embodies the spirit of the hustle and grind. The owner of the bodega is one of the first true businessmen you meet growing up in the hood.”
