Rick Ross has released his highly anticipated album Rather You Than Me. The project features guest spots from Dej Loaf, Anthony Hamilton, Nas, Future, Gucci Mane, Jeezy, Wale, Ty Dolla Sign, Raphael Saadiq, Yo Gotti and Young Thug.
I streamed the whole album last night, and from beginning to end I was impressed. This is Rick’s best album to date. “Triple Platinum” and “Summer Seventeen” are two of a few of his fire trap records, and “Apple of My Eye” is just perfection. The most controversial record of course is “Idols Become Rivals”, where he addresses his disappointment in Birdman. He lets it all go, exposing that Birdman wears fake jewelry, to not paying producers, to doing DJ Khaled and Lil Wayne terribly wrong. Whew, it’s good, you really gotta listen for yourself, but also make sure you purchase that, its beyond worth it.
